I have the privilege of working with some great groups of people in different parts of the world.  When these events come to an end and I am packing my bags, I sometimes wonder what moments and meeting points I also pack away and how it fits in my greater life. How do you bring closure to your travels and to the times and events in your life?

The goal-driven life may yield amazing results, but it is not easy. This may be why so many dream of island life, where enough to live is found in each day, and where there is no need to aim for higher ground or high rise luxury. On rare occasions, we may take our leisure in a faraway land and actually relax, letting go of our driven world. What we bring back is often lost in the rush of return. This is my poetic ode to keep the ease in the everyday world.

Air planes and air travel constitute one of the most amazing human accomplishments. Though it may defy our logic, air travel is perhaps the safest mode of transportation. This is my poetic ode to the airplane and those who make it possible for me to live this exotic life!
