This Is The Day

This is the day
you got it together,
the day you managed your list,
the day you kept true to your word.

This is the day
you found solace in simplicity,
the day your vision of what you want
aligned with what is.

This is the day
you found your presence
in the moment,
your ease in the rhythm
of the dance,
and your joy
in the flow.

This is the day
of your arrival,
your feet touching ground,
each step a blessing,
each breath a prayer,
a grateful heart
in reverence bowing
to the floating cloud,
to the fallen leaf,
to the fierce tenderness
needed to love this life.
