Travels In Tokyo
/Spent 6 days in Tokyo, with the privilege of staying at the home of Yukari Horiguchi with her family, where nearby access to the Tokyo Metro made navigating the city easy and I enjoyed seeing the sights. Here are a few photos from the trip:
Anamouri Inari Shrine filled with fox statues, may be tiny, but it is worth a visit if you have time on a layover at Haneda airport. The Senso-Ji Buddhist temple is said to be the largest in Tokyo and is purported to be the most visited temple in the world. We got great views of Tokyo from the Tokyo Sky Tree, blessed to have the weather clear up while we were there. I have my "broken arm" in a sling in the reflected image of me taken at the Happoen Garden--I broke it on my second full day in Tokyo fighting off three ninja samurai swordsmen with my bare hands!
